U-Haul is evil, I have had too many problems with them in the past to ever even think about using them again. On behalf of disgruntled U-Haul customers everywhere, I apologize that we haven't found an effective way to warn you in advance about this stuff. When we were moving from Troy to Malta, I found out the day before the move that if I wanted a truck, I could drive 30 minutes south but they werent sure if it was going to be there. Cancelled the reservation, and called Budget. They hooked us up, and for cheaper than the original too (with some kinds words for UHaul thrown in for good measure). --m same here as well. When I got a UHaul to move in February, I reserved it over the internet, and they never called to tell me where my local pick up was, I had to call them. Then when I showed up at the local office, they told me they didn't do in town moves and had no record of my reservation. Luckily the local guys were nice and helped me out, but yeah, down with UHaul. Down with moving in general. Let me know if there's anything I can do help. You can’t win when you’re moving.
